Holly Jackson “Good Girl, Bad Blood”

A month has passed, Pip has graduated and is looking forward to going to Cambridge University in the autumn. Her first case got a lot of media attention, as many people praised her for being able to solve a case at such a young age. She has decided to create her own website for it, as well as a podcast named “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder”. However, she says that this will be the first and the last time she gets involved in cases like this, because the horrors from the previous one are still with her, hovering from above. But when her good friend Connor begs her to investigate the disappearance of his brother Jamie, Pip needs to break her own promise. With her friends beside her, Pip starts to dig in, making interviews and piercing together clues. But the need to find Jamie quickly grows, as Pip finds leads to an old and very dangerous case. Will she be able to find Jamie alive? Or will she have to live with guilt, knowing that she wasn’t fast enough?
Holly Jackson strikes again with a thrilling book that will make your heart beat faster and your blood pressure rise. The plot twists in this book are crazy enough, so that your jaw will drop to the floor. Definitely a must read, if you’re interested in murder, crime, thriller or if you’re just looking for an excuse to get away from reality for some time. Suitable for both teens and adults.
